« Buying A House--Your Career | Main | Buying A House-So Move Already »

My husband and I are both turning 26 this month and have two children. We'd (I'd) like to buy a house because I see it as part of being grown up. Goodness, we never go out to eat anyways and we're grown up in every other way. Also, I was raised in the SF Bay Area where my parent's home has increased in value 8x since they bought in the early 1980s. However, my husband is an academic and we'll be moving be moving at least three times in the next six-seven years and always in expensive areas. I realize that it doesn't make sense to buy, but emotionally I want to!

Thanks for keeping this blog - it is useful!
