Great story. We're so used to seeing "overnight" successes, that we never dig into the facts and realize how much work lies behind them.

Even the poster child of overnight success, American Idol, features contestants that have been trying to get discovered for years and years. Sure, they're luck that Fox gave them a chance, but without all the hard work they put in, they'd have been voted off when they auditioned.
